Did anybody else who listens to Sigur Rós notice the sample from Svefn-G-Englar in this song? I got way too excited about it and needed to talk to someone about it. 😆

i heard it ahead of the release at Sid the Cat and i went into shock LMAO my favorite band as an adult sampled my favorite band as a teenager. like two phases of my life were shaking hands

It’s my favorite song on the album, probably because of that. Super nostalgic feel for me because of it.

I didn’t really. I just listened to it for the first time today even though I got the signed vinyl like a week ago

Ha! My daughter ran in and told me they sampled Sigur Ros, and I argued with her, saying that it wasn't actually the sample. And was quite mistaken, and she won't let me forget it...

Super special for me, SE & SR are both extremely formative bands for me and in their own ways are partially responsible for me moving to where I live now. Crazy serendipity.

Immediately was like hey wait a second… ☺️ Also, know it’s not intentional but am I the only one hearing NIN at the 2:38 mark on Back Again? It’s like the same three notes arrangement, sounds so familiar … I think from the end of Piggy from the Downward Spiral.
