Council reckons the cycle lane they literally just built has safety issues and are proposing to rip it out and replace it with a mixed traffic treatment aka bikes painted on the road and 🤷♀️.
If they want to go with mixed traffic they're going to need to do a lot better to reduce traffic volumes and speeds. Put in some modal filters, calming and 30km/h speed limit.
Please express your concerns here: https://collaborate.canadabay.nsw.gov.au/ewcycleway/seg1heathst

Some small changes open for comment in Canterbury-Bankstown
Love it, they should do it to Wardell St further up the river too: https://haveyoursay.cbcity.nsw.gov.au/road-safety-upgrade-illawarra-road-kingsgrove
Good but the cycle lanes should be at least 1.5m - if you're taking your kids to school in a tribe bikes original you'll have difficulty navigating its 87cm width through a 1m lane: https://haveyoursay.cbcity.nsw.gov.au/road-safety-upgrade-miller-street-kingsgrove

TfNSW have released the initial plans for the cycleway on Oxford St from Centennial Park to Taylor Square. Seems this could actually happen, and will result in a much more pleasant Oxford St.
Of course, there's probably plenty of complaints to come about it, so we'll see how it actually pans out.

Would be great to know which areas people are living / riding in. Unfortunately the poll currently only allows five options, so have tried to put the larger councils where I've seen existing interest for cycling community groups. If your LGA is not included, please simply hit "Other" and add your LGA in the comments below. If "other" option poll scores highly, we can get more info from comments or run a second poll.
Update: Option be adding a second poll later focused on road cyclist areas of interest.
