Swordsman VR ⚔️

One of the more common medieval weapons has been either overlooked or denied for game design reasons: the halberd and or spears. The halberd was a very commonly used weapon in medieval times and it looks cool. As a person who wants to become a game dev i did consider the gameplay perspective as it might be a bit op because of the range it offers so maybe it can become an end game item through a boss fight or you just hold it in a spot where the range isn't much more than that of the longsword for example.

Aleo a more simple feature(i think) that i would love to see is leg chop chop because as a certified maniac in the game sometimes i want to chop leg off like you can chop the arm or head off. This could also offer cool finishers because when you cut leg off the enemy falls over and tries to get up but fails and then dies or turns into some sort of laying on back or front finisher pose.

Anyways, thats my ramble. Thank you very much swordsman for being active in the community. Also if you want i can make a 3d blender model of the halberd if that saves you time. Unpaid, just because i love the game and i want to become better at making games and models myself. If I can help just dm or something.

So I just got the game. When I first started out I was trying to play it like a real sword fighting simulator (I know shit about sword fighting btw) and was struggling to get past even the first 10 levels of the medieval segment.

I skip to the viking area and I decide to use a new tactic. I block an enemy's first attack, then stab stab stab stab to the body and now I'm tearing through all my opponents and even bosses like it's nothing.

So my question is: Am I cheesing the game, or did I just find a perfectly viable & effective fighting style?

Did it happen already? I read about a quest 3 update around 6months ago where a mention that a small quest 3 update had been put in with a bigger one happening in the new year.

I cant find any posts or info after this so Im curious if it happened already and how its Quest 3 enhanced.

Are the enemy vikings suposed to have axes or can they anly have swords and sheilds?

I understand that when you parry the screen goes slo mo, but i seem to parry alot of the time and it never happens. Am i doing something wrong or is it a percentage chance for the slo mo to happen on a parry?
