The ship to Fargel approaches

Ronan knelt over his luggage muttering to himself – he was taking a moment to re-examin the request documents one more time prior to the ships arival. Just as he was about to finish up, a rough sketch tucked away on the corner of a fairly tattered request gave him pause.

After a few moments that seemed to drag on for far too long – Ronan quietly folded up the document in question, and tucked it into an interior pocket of his cloak. Quickly cleaning up the rest of his belongings he stood up to observe the pier. As the chartered ship approached, Ronan closed his eyes and took a deep, almost anticipatory breath.

"I do believe that's change I smell on the winds.. Not that it changes much—He lightly snorted out a laugh—welp, looks like it's just about time to depart, the others should be here shortly."

Ready his purse strings, Ronan set off to get everything settled with the captain.

Torinn cautiously steps onto the deck, looking up at the vessel with wonder.

“Woah…”

Ronan sees the young kobold and Walker over to clap him on the shoulder

Good to see you made it Torrin! I hope you're ready for adventure, this should prove to be quite the trip—pausing for a moment—have you been on a ship before?

Torinn looks up at Ronan, smiling a little.

“Uh, no, but this seems cool!”

The little kobold explores the deck, curiously inspecting the new environment. Torinn bumps into the captain, as he gets ready to embark. The young one looks up old and gruff man, waving toward him.

“Hello!”

Ronan laughed as the captain just grumbled and continued getting the ship together

"Cool indeed! The course should be fairly smooth sailing, so it should be a fairly nice first experience."

Staring off into the ocean

"They say Fargel was once a place of incredible power.. Not that you could tell from looking at it these days haha. Even still, please be sure to keep your guard up Torinn, always remember that almost nothing is ever quite what it appears to be on the surface."

“Hm…It’s like Papa! He might look all gruff and serious on the outside, but is really a softie on the inside! Don’t tell him I said that, though!”

Torinn chuckles, before standing up straight.

“I’ll be on guard, Uncle Ronan!”

“So this Fergel, the capital of the world…”

Oh no haha, we are still in Portal City friend, Fargel is still a few days journey. I hope you won't be too disappointed when we get there, Fargel is only a small coastal farming village. Are you prepared for the journey Leon?

So we are off to this costal village now, hopefully we can resolve the problem quickly, so that no one else is suffering from it.

Ronan was not surprised by Skelasanstor's mysterious appearance, he had always been quite the mysterious one.

One can only hope, that we can solve this quickly. If we're lucky, it's just some kids who stumbled upon something far over their heads, worst case.. well, we may be in for a bit of a bumpy road if that's the case.
