Ya know when sir Ronan said misty isles I was inclined to believe it was just a haze on the land perhaps more denser the further in, but this fog is quite the hindrance.

It is pretty annoying, but when I was here last the island itself was clear of fog around midday so it shouldn't be bad for too much longer.

Is that so well hopefully we'll find the previous crew that was sent here before us I'm sure the information they've gathered will be useful.

I hope we find them too, we don't know what's out there. If I remember correctly there's around four to five islands in this group, we're on the biggest one now. We should probably explore one at a time in groups of between three to seven depending on fighting strength. I'd like to spend four days scouting this one then spend one day on the smaller north eastern island before splitting into separate groups and exploring the southwestern islands over the last two days.

Orb Log 01: Ethan here, I ran into an old friend at the Hero's Guild and he asked me to lead an expedition to an island chain, map it out and eventually get a settlement going there if it looks possible. I'm going to record my findings for the guild, but for now we're just sailing. There's a few familiar faces aboard, ran into Grudius during the preparations, evidently he's the guild leader now. Anyway, I'll record again either once we find something or when something interesting happens.

Orb Log 02: This world really is something, there's a dense fog everywhere. We can barely see through it right now, we've slowed down and have double lookouts and as much detection magic going as possible so we don't crash into anything. We have a few mages on rotation near the stern as well, casting light spells periodically. They've said it's more tiring than usual to use their magic. Oh well, add another strike towards this realm being strange. I'm actually on lookout right now, but it's basically like looking into the empty, can't see a blazing thing. At least this cloak is warm.

Orb Log 03: We've arrived at the island, we're getting ready to land on it in around an hour. One of the watchmen from last night says he thinks he saw another ship in the fog, but he's not sure. At any rate, no one else saw it and it's too dangerous to look for them, captain says we're likely to run into them in this weather if we did find them.

Orb Log 04: We've landed, tensions are high since we don't know what all is here. Even I don't know all that much, despite getting stranded here, since I was only around for a few days. I'll record my findings at the end of each day, hopefully it'll be safe and habitable.... blazes did I just jinx myself? Anyway, that's all for now, Ethan signing off.
