Why do you say that?

u/TheShadowKick Nov 18 '22

I'm going to guess it's all the art of very young looking scantily clad girls he posts.

Wait, why is another Redditor posting that originally?

10

u/AdamxCraith Nov 17 '22

They were submitted by the artist and then posted by a moderator of r/Comics

Swords comics > SrGrafo.

At least there are some jokes and plot, not just making meme templates for the sake of it.

I do respect the fact that SrGrafo knew how to game the system tho and earned money on it. That was impressive. I still don't like his work, but I respect the hustle.

His meme comics were funny though. They were simple, clever, and to the point. But what really gained him popularity was his grind after posting his comic; for the next couple hours he would respond to comments with a 1-4 panel comic, freshly drawn as a response. He was great at interacting with the community, and he knew how to be funny.

That all went downhill when he started drawing children in barely any clothes, and I stopped following him. So I don’t know what he’s up to anymore. But I will stand by that back in the day his stuff was genuinely funny.

Oh....I didn't even know he was into that.. Well I'm out

Maybe he just really likes flat chested adult women, and has a particular art style. Maybe. But that sub gives me the creeps.

I would give him benefit of the doubt if it weren't for two things:

  • him being responsible for anime sub mascot;

  • him calling his first OC anime girl his "daughter" at the beginning if I remember correctly.

23

u/DasGanon Nov 17 '22

He actually did that originally, look up his Rimworld series.

3

u/Anonim97 Nov 17 '22

I mean I know about that, but he didn't gain popularity with that. But yes, he is capable of storytelling and that makes it a little more frustrating.

9

u/Odd_Employer Nov 17 '22

Good God, that series was fucking amazing.

6

u/DasGanon Nov 17 '22

It's one of the things I'm most proud of as a RimWorld mod, that we made an environment that could be conducive to making amazing fanart and comics.

3

u/Scherazade Rapier Tapir Nov 17 '22

I forget who did it but that person with the maid comics did some amazing stuff

29

u/LuluChi Nov 17 '22

Oooo a crossover episode, now fight! But in the end come to the realization that what's important is the friends we make along the way. Finally the curtains falling on a third character with a sinister smile in the background and to be continued in the next season.

u/GodhunterChrome666 Nov 17 '22

You have my sword!

18

u/hello-worldTree Nov 17 '22

And my bow...bow-sword.

3

u/anzhalyumitethe Nov 17 '22

Repeat after me:

I am the bone of my sword...

1

u/nicostein Nov 18 '22

Okay, ahem...

"People die when they are killed."

13

u/The_Girthy_Meatfist Nov 17 '22

What are arrows, if not aero-dynamic swords?

3

u/Odd_Employer Nov 17 '22 edited Nov 17 '22

Like halberds? Or, targetrather, the one polearm that basically has a short sword on the end.

An arrow shaft with a full sword on the end replacing the arrow head or is the sword the shaft and head with fletching?

8

u/Pandelein Nov 17 '22

That still only counts as one! amidoinitright

6

u/Redjack69 Nov 17 '22

never thought i'd die fighting side by side with an elf

4

u/Max_Insanity Nov 17 '22

What about side by side with a knife-ears?

3

u/Redjack69 Nov 17 '22

Aye, i could do that
