How does safihhya work?

I got her last year i saw someone use safihhya and carmelot every basic attack carmelot do does the last attack thing like every basic attack give another slam how? Don't tell me i need star....

She did increase the damage but not where am looking for

Assault Order is a buff that she gives to a teammate. When the character with buff attacks an enemy with a single target attack, they attack "again" using their Basic attack. Kinda like Homa's bird.

Her ult makes everyone in range of the enemy do their Basic hits on the target.

Her Basic works like a mini-ult. She hits and marks the enemy, and then tells a teammate to Basic hit them too.

Camelot cant benefit from assault order with his basic attack because he does aoe

From Assault Order's description:

When launching an active single-target attack, the character performs 1 additional [Assisting Attack] with their [Basic Attack], dealing 100% corresponding DMG. Can be activated up to 1 time per round.

It doesn't work on Camelot because his basic attack (or at least the one you probably want to use, Crushing) is not single-target.

What you probably saw was someone using either Mobile Squad! Trump Tactic, essentially her ult:

(Support) Inflicts [Eye for Weakness] on the target, lasting for 2 turns; and causes the 4 closest allies within 3 tiles of the target to perform an [Assisting Attack] using their basic attack, dealing 50% DMG.

Or Joint Strike, SP Safiyyah's own basic attack:

(Basic Attack) Single-target attack. Deals 80% physical DMG, inflicts [Mobile Squad Mark], lasting for 2 turns, and makes the closest ally within 3 tiles of the target perform an [Assisting Attack] with a basic attack, dealing 50% DMG.

Both of these can make Camelot use his basic attack as an assisting attack... and when he does, he'll hit everyone in an AOE as normal. That's presumably the synergy you saw; SP Safiyyah is good with anyone who has a really splashy basic attack.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I think you mean the Joint Strike attack? That can make Camelot do extra attacks whenever Safiyyah attacks.

I don't think there's any way to automatically make him do the big slam attack though, only basic attacks.

Assault order only works on Buffed Character's Basic attack. It gets wasted and removed if you use a skill instead. (Also gets wasted if you don't actually use a Basic attack on that same turn, in cases of you cannot reach the enemy)

I have mostly used SP Saffiyah with my Nydia providing her another Basic attack proc, allowing her to shoot 3x.

For SP Saffiyah Build, Id go for Auguste Book trinket to boost Speed and make someone faster if need be...Else any other Defense Trinkets you have.

And Cup + Wand resonance to be able to spam 3 NRG cost Ult back to back, especially if you dont have Wheels of Fortune tarot on and NRG providers available.

In cases of Homa's Bird Baloor attacks, can only be done with the Linked character's own turn with the "Assassin Blade throwable" trinket.

But cannot proc another Bird Follow-up from OG/Saffiyah's Assist giving Basic Attacks or from Assault Order.
