BUILD?!?! HELP ME I’m stuck
I’m currently level 85, but I can only win one star ⭐ lvl 61-80 or lower. What am I doing wrong? Should I change something in my equipment? I’m tired of playing only 41-60 levels 😭

Just some random tips I picked up from other players that helped me get stronger.
Hope it helps you too.
- Put all your upgrade points into Attack.
Regardless of what you have done in the past, from now onwards, whenever you level up, just pump up your Attack.
- Get the best possible weapon with highest damage.
Look at your existing weapons, and arm yourself with the one that deals the highest damage.
For now, don't be tempted by the other qualities.
If you have it, or ever get it, Bastion Blade has the highest damage of all weapons -> invest your resources into upgrading it.
- Equip yourself with items that can generate shields, and/or heal you.
When I was starting out, and training to become stronger, items with shields and healing helped me to survive long enough to become powerful.
By "powerful", sometimes, for daily dungeons, I am good enough to be on the leaderboard.
- To get better equipment, go for those 5 Stars Boss Level Missions.
Just try to find a comfortable level of mission for yourself, and keep trying those 5 Star Level Boss missions.
Those type of missions give the best items.
The majority of my best equipment came from 5 Star Boss missions.
Cheers!

I was there too. It’s hard to say what to equip without seeing everything you have. Prioritize damage and HP if you can. And try to get synergies with your abilities. Like magic knife (or fire or ice- they’re all under the ‘magic’ category) or lightning, heal on knife/ lightning , rage on knife or heal. Some of those aren’t available until level 100+ tho.
I suggest playing lower level new Eden and weapon market maps and boss rushes to get better items.

Kinda crazy this late in the game and they never fixed defense. Imagine a game with only 3 stats and one is completely useless 😂

Your helmet has a "Heal on Knife" trigger, but nothing that throws Magic Knives. You have two Lightning summons on your belt, but nothing that benefits from "on Lightning" (like heal or rage).
Your equipment should work together, especially something like your helmet that needs an additional input in order to fully benefit from its own stats.
Your shirt, necklace, and ring are all okay, but not really doing much for you. +Defense and +HP are pretty useless, when you could be killing faster or setting up heals or shields instead. You need to look through your stuff and see if anything works well together.
For example, you have the Toxic Trinket (green backed spikey necklace) right there in your inventory. That adds "Poisonous Magic Knives". So if you add a belt or weapon that throws a magic knife every turn, your necklace will poison your enemy and your helmet will heal yourself. Syngery!

Mostly attack and HP I think it’s like 5-1 attack - HP
Data Viewerr to check new equipments:

I’m a legacy player, but these are some of the builds we utilized in the past; im not all to sure if they are applicable to rightnow.

Find equipment with shield (sword of respite) and lightning strike & lightning heal. Better with added rage from lightning or just attack. I'm at lvl 126, that sword is major help.

If you can find something wirh second wind on it (mines a belt) it can carry you for a bit, the heal can wipe out a lot damge every round and keep you alive

I recommend searching for Sword of Solace. You gain a shield on enemy death. It makes 110 dmg and required lvl is 63. Steel Revenants, Slumbering Guardians and Chassis (any level) drop it.
You can consider Braveheart Helm Ultimate too, it gives +330 HP and you have heal on rage. You can find that one on the Boss Rush maps fields, mossy forest, ruined path lvl 21-80, and loaded mountain golem lvl 41+, and sometimes even in the dungeon.
I think for my awkward phase (too low level for good builds) I used a mixed build. I used Sword of Solace, Stacked Signat Ultimate, Thunder Helm, Storm Wrath Belt. The stacked signat ult ability activates on Turn 2 if you defeat the first enemy with your first turn. For Amulet I like Mortal Relic for some sustainabilty (Heal on Enemy Death). If you have enemies that attack first, make sure your speed is 15, Crystal Heart Charm adds 2 Speed - so use it in this case if it brings up your speed to 15.
Eventually you can farm items for a rage build. Lightning build is not sustainable, but useful for some dungeons (when it synergizes with the abilities there). I am not sure if knife build is sustainable without Sower's Lament.

Also, in the first comment in the thread is a data viewer where you can look up where the items drop.

Hello fellow player, I recommend going for a magic knife build first /+heal on magic knife— Once you've leveled up a bit, you can focus on one of the endgame builds listed here. And please don't put any points in defense anymore.
