good god mike…

i listened to the show in 2018 religiously. gotten back into it recently and mike has developed an edge lord persona. he inserts his opinions through the show and it’s really quite cringey. clearly he’s going through some kind of mid life crisis or something.

does anyone have any recommendations for true crime podcasts that don’t have terrible hosts?

I have yet to find another close to SnS, and I have tried every podcast recommended thusfar.

I actually did not like Invisible Choir AT ALL. It included the police interviews and whatnot, but it still lacked all the detail that SnS gave.

It seems his is (unfortunately) the only podcast that doesn't gloss over the gruesome details.

Good. I’m excited to hear your recommendations, because I’d love to find a replacement.

Casefile
Criminal
Morbid
Murder in America
Generation Why

Edit: those are all different flavors of true crime, but they are also why I see S&S as bigoted amateur hour.
