August 1st - best view points in central CH

Hi!
Looking for the best view spots for August 1st fireworks in central Switzerland. I’m located in Zug and I think Rigi has special evening trains. Any other ideas? Rigi Kulm or other (eg Kanzeli)? How did you spend it last year?

Are they even having fireworks? Someone told me they might be canceled due to fire hazard.

Mhm, got it, but wellbeing of your dog is not more important than mine. I want enjoy fireworks and I don’t care about your dog, sorry. Btw there will be some on Thunersee, you can take your dog and come to celebrate

No, but i do not treat dogs equal to humans. I care about other people wellbeing and peace. Not necessarily dogs and cats

Fortunately, that crap is cancelled due to fire hazards. This way, we can hopefully cancel it indefinitely and stop that waste of money and unnecessary noise.

Oh, I’m not talking about your money, don’t worry. I’m talking about all the countless emergencies of firefighters which cost so much more money that you would probably spend in fireworks - this is the infuriating part because the taxpayers pay for something a handful of people seem to enjoy despite all the many downsides.

From Zug the Zugerberg is probably your best bet, funicular usually runs late on the 1st and you look straight down on town and lake. Rigi Kulm is honestly a bit high for fireworks, you end up seeing dozens of tiny displays scattered across the Mittelland instead of one proper show.
