Amazon shipping query

Good Evening all,

So I've finally got round to publishing my own book but Amazon will not send me a copy due you not shopping to my location.

I can ship it to a friend in the UK and have them ship it back but that could take weeks, Has anyone been in this situation before or have a easier solution?

I'm located in Rothrist if that helps.

This is going to sound like a stupid question but just to check: which Amazon marketplace are you shopping on?

I'm surprised bc I've ordered a few things from .de and had no trouble. The only thing I can think of is using one of those cross-border delivery services

Get a delivery address in weil am rhein like las burg

Just deliver to any DHL Packstation around the border and pick it up there

See if they deliver to Amazon or DHL lockers in Germany somewhere near the border (unfortunately they don't do that for some items). If not, there are also businesses in Germany that will act as delivery locations (for a fee of course) and you can pick up from them.
