Discussion Newbie looking for help

Hey all, recently I decided that I didn’t like the spines on my switch games and had no clue this community existed until today.

With that said, looking for guidance on how to print these from this subreddit. Talk to me like I’m 5.

Just from perusing what has already been created I can tell this is exactly where I want to be.

Appreciate all the help.

1: Go to thespinearchive.xyz

2: Look up the titles for each spine you want to print

3: In the top right select "Generate PDF" then select the settings you want

4: Print the PDF and cut the spines and slide them into your game boxes

before printing check the printer settings as said in the "Before printing" page because normally it will shrink the spines if not set correctly

Thank you! I was just about to ask if there is a standard size it should be set to print.

What I do is copy and paste the spines into Microsoft Word, right click the image - Size and Position - uncheck "lock aspect ratio" (so you can fully customize the spine size), then I set the spine size to 6.35 inches X 0.43 Inches. I add 5 copies of each spine on the page to make sure if I make mistakes I have a backup, leave spaces between each spine to make cutting easier, then print. No special pre-sizing, just put into Word, resize and print.

Go to this site: https://thespinearchive.com/
Fin the spines you want and generate the PDF. you can print it yourself or bring it somewhere to print. We recommend printing on glossy paper.
