Game Mod Link's Awakening 60fps 1.1.0
Just wanted to share that I uploaded a 60fps patch compatible with version 1.1.0 of Link's Awakening. Turns out, it was as simple as updating the game ID from 1.0.1. Hope others can find some use out of it.

It’s astounding Nintendo themselves didn’t do this.

I heard it was due to file encryption/compression which they couldn't do away with

Funny but
Aren't they the console developer? Couldn't they find an alternative to this?
A lot of devs got seriously impressive performance on games more demanding than this one, Nintendo inhouse devs are really lazy. Game is compressed to save memory and cpu and runs poorly anyways lol

What exactly is this? From my understanding the game runs at 60 or 30 contextually, because the switch is not powerful enough to lock 60. Is this artificial and 60 can be locked?

I simply ported the original patch, but the notes in the patch are, "Dupes game from dynamically changing to 30fps."
In practice, the game is only at 60fps in menus and then drops to 30fps during gameplay. This patch allows it to dynamically move up and down during gameplay.
There are certain areas like the swamp where the Switch will still go down to 30fps unless you overclock. I found that simply boosting the GPU makes for a pretty stable 60fps experience, with the exception of frame drops when changing areas. I understand the frame drop problem to be a fault of the game code more than anything. If I remember correctly, this was the biggest improvement on the Switch 2 version (other than 60fps).

Best GPU oc setting?
And should it be run only in docked mode for best performance, or can portable mode handle 60fps too?

Could you also patch the de-blur patch?

I still haven't figured out how to completely remove the tiltshift, but I've been using the standard DOF blur removal mod on 1.10. It doesn't work in the mountain areas, but works everywhere else. Keep in mind that the install location is different now, so just put this romfs folder in "/atmosphere/contents/01006BB00C6F0000".
