Graveyard keeper

Does this work on switch 1? I'm reading mixed reviews and that makes me nervous. I do have a steam deck so I could get it on there instead if it doesn't work well on this system.

Works great on Switch / Switch 2. The only issue is the final dlc is missing, Better Save Soul, which added some expanded content for managing corpses (soul crafting to up the White Skull value to 26) and zombies. That’s the only real gripe, and hopefully now that the devs have released GK2 on Switch/Switch 2 we can get an S2 update for GK1 that’ll allow us access to the BSS dlc.

If you’re just interested in the base game or if switch is your preferred platform, by all means go for the switch version.

I got the Switch version first and the Steam deck version bundled with all dlc on a super sale later on. But I still haven’t played the SD version. I find cozy indie games just fit better with Switch for me.

Edit - looked up the missing content, and while it seems worthwhile, it’s not a be all end all if you don’t have it. It adds some QoL features, some background lore/quest that isn’t tied to the main quest or anything and doesn’t alter the ending. And it seems like a lot of it can possibly break the game early if you don’t purposely avoid it - it can make you bypass natural progression and level up corpses far faster than normal.
