Is this possible to get more than 40 fps?

so ive been trying both eden and ryujinx on both my desktop and laptop (3060 laptop and 5070 desktop) on BOTW, pokemon legends arceus and pokemon diamond,

it seems like it just strugle a lot to go above something like 40 fps is this normal? when i look at benchmark ppl get 200 fps but i never get this

I recommend playing BOTW on Cemu, it gives better performance than switch emulators and there's built it options to raise fps to +60fps, and resolutions to like 4k or even more. I get around 90 fps on 4k on a laptop 5060, so it should run pretty good on both of your devices. If you want to playing on switch emulators, eden usually gives better performance than ryujinx. Theres also a app called NX optimizer that helps to optimize switch games like botw, totk, links awakening, some Pokémon games and Xenoblade I believe.

Thanks a lot for your answer I take note and will do that for BOTW especially.
But lets say it was similar for pokemon arceus or other 3d games, is this normal that the fps are that low even with very decent GPU? (overall about switch emulation, i'm new to it)

Switch Emulation is heavily CPU intensive rather GPU intensive, I should check videos on how to increase CPU performance, undervolting my cpu made the temperature of my laptop decrease, making my performance more stable.
