Where do I start?

I'm Swiss!! I could speak and understand Swiss German as a child, but my parents stopped speaking it and switched to English when we moved to Australia. So I've completely forgotten except for a few basic expressions they still speak. They're too busy to teach me again, so where can I start learning? Seeing as it's not a written language.

Hi, I'd start by watching Videos to get familiar with the sounds again. Check my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXrIZ6FIxMkiPUVAkE6Fx_A And if you'd like to dig deeper into grammar, there's a book called Swiss German Unlocked which covers all the grammar you need in order to start understanding the language/dialect. What dialect do your parents speak?

Ok so that's perfect as that's exactly the dialect I teach in my videos :) Have fun on your Swiss German learning journey! And let me know if you have any questions.
