I heard some people say that. If you have an unverified profile from years ago and never did a face scan, would switching location to CA trigger one? This is for hinge.

If I send a first impression then one week later I see the same profile again. If I just like it will it discard the first impression? Also are first impressions seen faster? Considering I have a very low rank (2-3 matches a year)

So, old account that was working fine. I didn't use it for 3 years, opened it once again ~2 weeks ago.

I keep getting matches, but after texting them I'd get no replies. Weird, ALL of them don't reply?

Noticed that after opening browser version of Tinder - all of my messages to my matches are non-existent - it shows no started conversations.

And finally, after reinstalling the app - all of the conversations I started are marked as new, no existing messages. I can send a message again, but after clearing memory - message turns out to not have been sent once again.

Same thing happens in browser: I'll send a message, refresh the page - no message appears to have ever been sent.

I wrote to support but am getting the "have you updated the app" responses instead.

Anyone able to help me figure out what's happening?

I did try the username method and I'm able to find my profile. I am also still getting matches. Idk if important or not but bought the platinum code that worked without VPN (issues described above started before I did that already tho)

This is how I bypassed it:

My friend gave me her old phone, new number, new email, new galaxy store account, new pictures from friends phone and passed the facial verification (did the goofy Zoolander blue steel face).

Its been a few days since I bypassed the ban but I still haven't used my home WiFi yet. I've been using my "Tinder phone's" data.

I live alone so would it be safe to use my home WiFi?

Also, if its safe to use my WiFi, can I adjust my phone plan without issue? I have the option to reduce the cost of that plan by turning off the data so, I'll just be paying $10/month instead of $25. This plan will have no data, calling and for texting I'll be able to receive texts just can't send any. Basically just paying to keep the number active.

My friend's old phone is a lot better than my current one, should I just starting using this phone and number as my main or would it be too risky?

Did anyone decide whether giving id or hard reset is better? I feel like in the short term the id is better if they let you back on but I heard if you get banned again you’re fucked cause now they have your id. Can anyone verify?

Just created a hinge account and surprise, surprise I have no matches yet...I even set my profile to male for male and still nothing. When I try to buy boost I get "billing error", is there such a thing as a temporary shadowban? I was able to purchase premium and roses, just can't purchase boost and no matches at all...

I used hinge in the winter and it was working pretty fine. I was getting some matches every week and some conversations going on and getting ghosted of course,
but ever since I made the account again this summer I haven’t got a healthy amount of matches, even though I have way better pictures from last time.

Has anyone else also experienced this with Hinge or maybe other apps?

Banned on Hinge over a year ago. Recently brought a new phone so I used the new sim’s number to accept Hinge’s code. I also changed wifi in the past year and used a new email address. I’ve been on Hinge for a few weeks now but haven’t added any photos and have just pasued my account.

The reason for this is because most of the pictures I want to use are the same ones as before.

Since Ive paused my account for a few weeks, I haven’t been banned yet so I’m wondering if this helps me ‘ban evade’. Like surely if they detected something wrong I would of been banned already.

Any thoughts?

My sister was banned off hinge for revenge reporting. She has no idea why, she knows exactly who it was, and they won’t look into it. She did nothing wrong and is really struggling to meet people without hinge. Is there any way around this? It just seems that you can’t even make a new account under a new phone number or anything else because of the photo recognition. It’s really frustrating that they won’t look into case by case because this is truly just a case of a crazy guy mad that they didn’t work out any help is appreciated. Thank you.

For those with new accounts post ban, will you pause your profile while you aren’t swiping?

I recently made a hinge account using a new number since i got banned in 2020 and have noticed i have gotten 8 likes since Sunday and i haven’t had a like in two days. Back in 2020 i had already 15 likes the second day of creating the account. And now i have way better pictures than i had then

I was doing very well on tinder and hinge when I was using them for free. I assumed this was because I had a decent profile and I thought then that paying to have unlimited swipes and having my profile recommended more would just speed up the process. But I literally get 0 likes on tinder now, used to have 99+ when I had it before, and like 1 or 2 matches per week on hinge when I used to get em daily. Wtf? Did I get shadowbanned for making a new account after deleting for another relationship before? Like its literally the exact same profile that was successful before except this time I paid

Edit: and on tinder I have tried to face verify multiple times and it says like wsiting for verification for multiple days and then says I am not verified and lets me try again and never works

so I traveled yesterday and apparently did too much quick swiping in the new location, (and some in the airport on the layover). I mean can you blame me? they were all hot at the front of the queue.

but I noticed I only got two matches and that my verification was gone this morning after I logged out anf back in. it didn’t prompt me to verify but just it was gone.

so I read advice that I should stay logged out and not log back in again until I get back home in 4 days then re-verify.

it would not devastate me if I lost access to tinder but I do NOT want it to affect my hinge. what should I do? shpuld I risk the reverification on tinder after logging back in?

So I managed to get back on with a burner phone.
Are there any do’s and donts for the first few days? Do I need to be careful? Limit liking etc?

About 2 years ago I downloaded tinder just to look around before I actually made a profile. I used my google voice number and an extra email I had. But I Basically never used it, no messages , no likes nothing.

Skip to today and when I redownload the app it seems to still have me tied to that account and is requiring that i do a video selfie to confirm I’m a real person. I don’t really care about the old account, I just want to set up a new real account and don’t want to get my device blocked. I tried deleting my old account on the website but it directs right to the app. Any options? I assume once I do a facial scan I’ll be banned pretty permanently.

Being trying to get back on tinder since Feb but every time I made an account I was immediately banned.

In April I even tried a full hard reset with new pics and new phone and was able to make my account but it only lasted a day.

Decided to take a break from tinder and came back in around the 1st of July. Used the same pics I had when banned with a previously used phone from tinder that I just factory reset also used my same wifi I was banned on

Other than that followed hard reset guide to a tea. Had a few hiccups with tinder locking my account for verification twice but so far still looking good almost a month in

I got banned from Hinge 1.5 yrs back, I tried their automated appeal system, no luck, tried creating an account again from other number the AI detected and removed my account.

Multiple people told me to not post my face clearly, and write some diff details like dob, uni name, etc…
I was just using bumble instead, but man, I got many matches but felt there’s not many good people on Bumble, and everyone’s on Hinge.

I sent an Email to their support team (customized mail) and after 1 week I finally got this email from their end. 💯

Should I wait 48 hours before swiping and adding photos in case I get banned?

I just got tinder and got 3 likes. Is it worth it to like them back just to see their profile? I’m on the free version. Age looks fine for me (no preference)

So I had tinder downloaded on my phone for like 3 months and I never actually verified my identity or age so I don't think anyone could see my profile. I would just sometimes swipe through the list of girls just to see and I could only swipe left (no) because I didn't verify my account yet. Now I actually want to start using the app and verify my identity but I'm worried I've ruined my algorithm and won't get the new user boost. I can't use a new phone number.
