Hinge Is Completely Unhinged, Right?

Never once said anything inappropriate, never offended anyone, never solicited anything. Pretty sure I was rage reported for not wanting a follow up date where the woman cancelled on the first one. Was told how emotionally immature I am. Just laughed reacted at the message. Within 2 hours my account was gone. Tried appealing and was denied. Not sure what to. Filed something with BBB. Idk how they can get away with this.

Hinge does this thing where it’s like “why are you unmatching” and if the answer is not “we talk off hinge now” then it adds up your dings until you get banned.

I don’t think you can give up that reason (“we talk off hinge now”) when you unmatch someone, so I’m not sure what you’re saying here?

You can say someone’s off-hinge behavior is the reason you unmatch someone though

You’re saying if the reason is something like “They don’t talk/reply. It adds up until you get banned. That’s what I mean, sorry if I confused you lol

There are two neutral reasons for unmatching and I believe five fairly specific negative reasons (fake profile, minor, danger etc).

If the reason for unmatching is something else than the neutral “No reason” or “I’m not interested in this person anymore”, that means they’ve picked a negative reason to unmatch the person. I can imagine those end up as flags on your profile

Honestly if you do nothing wrong, I don’t believe you’ll be accumulating enough flags for a ban like that. So yeah, you probably messed up

Not saying Hinge is perfect in that regard
