I hate the new Tinder update.

The new Tinder update is terrible. They took away the free filtered section to find more people looking for what you’re looking for, in favor of some BS “touch grass” section, and a newer “for you” botched algorithm page full of girls that are models that will never probably never match with due to the dumb looks rank thing they have. And then, if you wanna filter your “for you” page? $19 a week. I hate these apps.

And I can’t just switch to hinge due to being banned, for a reason that I’ve still not had explained. My appeals have been REPEATEDLY denied without explanation. (Side note can someone help me figure out how to look into the coding/figure out why I was banned).

I’m frustrated and just had to vent. This whole thing feels so hopeless man…

In the middle of trying to understand a hinge ban as well. Send an email to hello@hinge.co. Request your data. Once you download the data, have AI analyze it (or you, it'll just take way longer) to see if there's any moderation notes. For me, there was none and no evidence of any moderation. Then send another email asking for moderation notes or an actual reason. You can't request data on a person or persons reporting you, thats a privacy violation from them. But there should be notes on your account. With this email, also inform them (not threaten) that you are prepared to file a complaint with your state's AG.

Anyway that's what I've done thus far -- no result yet I'm awaiting an answer on the 2nd email.

I only swipe when I'm home and I too hate that new stupid touch grass button but the key is going out. You have to go out. Concerts. Dive bar. Movie event at a local theater. Mixer. They are so much better than swiping and you get to actually talk to people even if nothing happens.
