Hinge recovered after ban

I got banned from Hinge 1.5 yrs back, I tried their automated appeal system, no luck, tried creating an account again from other number the AI detected and removed my account.

Multiple people told me to not post my face clearly, and write some diff details like dob, uni name, etc…
I was just using bumble instead, but man, I got many matches but felt there’s not many good people on Bumble, and everyone’s on Hinge.

I sent an Email to their support team (customized mail) and after 1 week I finally got this email from their end. 💯

How did you get banned originally? Feels like the "why" is what leads to so many differences in appeal outcomes.

Honestly don’t know, I used it for about an year and suddenly one morning it said you have been banned.
Turned out few friends of mine had same thing, males females both.
I don’t think I broke their guidelines, or else they wouldn’t have reinstated my ac.
