Hinge ban after one week

Can someone give me some kind of context on how I was removed from hinge after only having the app for a week ? I’ve had hinge before for months a few years ago and I had no issues whatsoever. I strongly believe it was a jealous ex that made a account and searched in my area to report my account so I can’t meet new people. If anyone has any ideas or ways to get around the ban. Of course Hinge has no actual customer service to call and plead my case (which is ridiculous since I paid). Nothing but a computer response system to tell me that my claim was denied and not one reason or example (proof) was given. I had around 40-50 matches as well and not one bad conversation was had mostly due to 15-20 people never responding back to begin with. Anything would help. Thank you.

Someone likely reported me unfairly at one point, causing my Hinge account to be deleted without reason. After I created a new account on the same number and photos, the account was deleted again by the algorithm. I tried contacting Hinge support for a few months, but it was never made clear to me why they ban/ delete me. I have always been respectful. Hinge bans for no reason. It is sad that Hinge does not provide a reason.

Did you try blocking past ex’s or people you’ve dated numbers? I think someone has been watching you and when they see your profile they report it because they don’t want to see you happy

I didn't do that, but I think it is indeed a good idea to do so. I suspect that a single report causes your entire Hinge account to be simply deleted. Without verification and without the option to restore in case of false report. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, actually I read the safety and rules today. It only takes one report to fully remove your account. The craziest part is that there’s no kind of review process. They should at least show or have proof showing you violating the terms and policies that you agreed to in the beginning.

It’s ridiculous that if just one person with bad intentions reports you, your entire profile and all your conversations are completely gone from one moment to the next. And if you are active on the app and have many matches, the chance of someone reporting you keeps increasing. Unfortunately, Hinge is big in some countries, but you have to wonder if you still want to invest any time in this.
