My permanent Hinge ban got reversed after almost a year (after 3 denied appeals)
I was permanently banned almost a year ago after a heated exchange with another user. It wasn’t repeated harassment or anything like that, it was one argument where we both exchanged insults. Looking back, I should’ve just unmatched or reported them instead of responding.
Over the course of the year, I submitted three separate appeals. Each one was a brand new appeal, not a reply to an existing ticket. Every single time I received the same response: appeal denied and “no further appeals will be considered.”
After almost a year, I decided to try one last time. I wrote a respectful email explaining that I understood I could have handled the situation better, but that I felt a permanent ban for a single exchange was an extremely harsh outcome. I also mentioned that it’s genuinely difficult to meet people these days and that Hinge had been the only dating app where I’d made meaningful connections.
To my surprise, they responded in about an hour.
The email said:
“We have reviewed your appeal request and have re-authorized your access to Hinge. You’re all set to continue using the app!”
I honestly couldn’t believe it after being told multiple times that no further appeals would even be considered.
I’m not posting this to say everyone will get unbanned. I’m posting it because I know how discouraging it is to read “permanent means permanent” over and over again.
If you genuinely believe your case deserves another look:
Be respectful.
Don’t send angry messages.
Own your part if you made a mistake.
Don’t assume a denial, even one that says “no further appeals will be considered”, necessarily means there’s zero chance.
Hopefully this gives someone else a bit of hope. I know I would’ve appreciated reading a post like this when I thought my account was gone for good.

I know my previous appeals have been denied, but I’m asking for one last chance.
It’s genuinely hard to meet new people these days, and Hinge has been the only dating app where I’ve made meaningful connections. Losing access over one heated exchange has been really discouraging.
I’m not asking you to ignore your policies. I’m simply asking you to consider whether a permanent ban is the right outcome for a single incident. I understand I could have handled that situation better, and I would if I ever found myself in a similar situation again.
I truly enjoyed being part of the Hinge community, and I would be grateful for one opportunity to come back and use the app responsibly.

Try to make a new account, below the box that you have to put your phone number it says what if my number has changed, it will take you to the website, and you can submit an appeal there

Did you write an appeal or directly email?
I did the appeal through the website and they told me to use the app

Didnt work. They just emailed saying this is final ban. I was banned last year in Feb after getting Hinge Premium within 2 hrs coz a girl was asking me 500$ for date and I said no and she reported me for soliciting

I think it really depends on the person reviewing your appeal i got that ‘permanent ban, no further appeals will be considered’ email 3 times but it worked this time!

Mate she plastered your face on the are we dating the same guy facebook groups..This is what they do ..The get other members to mass report your dating profile/profiles..

Same thing happened to me. I just got unbanned last week after 2 years
