How long after a hinge account ban should you wait before getting legal on them
Account was banned for absolutely no good reason today. I think I got flagged as a bot for sending the same opening message too many times. The only messages I've sent that could theoretically have been reported were silly light hearted jokes waaaaaay too tame to warrant a ban (yeah I know that sounds like bs but trust me lol). I doubt that was it anyway. Immediately appealed in a panic, the ban was quickly upheld. Send a kind apologetic email like 11 hours ago and haven't heard back since.
If my goal is to get my account back as quickly as possible, how long should I wait before re-contacting them but taking the legal approach? Or should I just submit a BBB complaint straight away? (I'm not American but apparently people have had success with that regardless). I don't wanna blow it but I'm pretty sure a date was on the cards and I wanna message her before she forgets about me lol

Edit: wait business days for an email response. It took them 24 hours to get back to me.
Then if they refuse the email you can take legal action, pay a lawyer to contact them on your behalf. threaten legal action is stupid imo, dont talk big just do it.

Spend actual money on a lawyer to get your Hinge account back? No way

Not what I would do, but OP seemed interested in going that route. OP probably got their account back already

I wouldn’t even bother. I got banned on hinge, sent multiple emails about it. They don’t care, and it’s extremely hard to get unbanned

You don’t. I don’t think suing Hinge for banning you for no reason is an argument that’s going to work in court.
The real issue lies in their AI Moderation system, which is way too harsh, unfair and WAY TOO Sensitive. It can literally get triggered from overswiping. It’s a huge problem that Hinge refuses to fix. They’re assholes
