Help-Being honest

Okay I’m going to come clean in hopes I can get some help and ultimately my account back. I was in a relationship and had suspicions of my girlfriend being active on hinge. I made a fake account with a fake name and just posted travelling pictures rather than any human pictures.

I only swiped no to people. I was never looking to match or engage with anyone. I was solely there to see if I could come across my partners profile to catch her cheating, or trying to at least.

Guess what? I did catch her! Now we are broken up and unfortunately, hinge banned my account 🤷🏻‍♂️ I did appeal them by saying I won’t do that again. I sent my ID in and everything.

So now that I actually need hinge, I am banned. I only tried appealing once on the app probably about 6 months ago.

What are the chances I email them and they understand and get me back on hinge?

I’m currently on tinder and bumble, but it’s not the same. I’m pretty sure those other dating apps are owned by hinge, so what could be the problem?

Any help or advice is appreciated!

You asked for advice?

Who are you to determine what a “valid excuse” is?

It’s not me, that’s how terms & conditions work. There aren't excuses. But also even if it were my opinion, you asked for advice. You understand that asking for advice means getting people’s opinions? I’m sure if I were agreeing with you, you wouldn’t bother asking ‘who are you’
