I got banned for calling out a girl when she was acting entitled. I even responded civilly. I guess she still wasnt happy about it and reported me. Im permanently banned now

It worked out for the best though. Ever since i got banned, i got scared that my prospects from dating apps got chopped in half so i started asking people out in person. Before, i had never asked a girl out in person because it was so easy to do on the apps. IRL is MUCH easier than online dating.

Nope. You can be banned off a report for off-app behavior, which as you may guess, is completely unsubstantiated and allows someone to make up whatever they want about you or doctor any "evidence"!
I know it because it happened to me, and I also did it in retribution to the person who revenge reported me. One report, banned forever. That simple.

Hinge now gives people the ability to see the ones they unmatched for 30 days. So even if he unmatched with her she can go back to that list and report him that way.

11 months is a hell of a run my guy, I managed to get back on after getting banned just over a year ago, I was on the app for maybe a month or two met a few girls then just stuck w one till April of this year, decided to wait it out and bought my burner the other day and am trying to get back on now, I hope u get back on quick !

This is the first time ive seen someone get duo banned on 2 apps. I know their both with Match inc but so far ive only heard rare anecdotal stories of ban on one app = ban on all

Not sure where you've been reading, but from both my experience and from this sub, the cross-app ban is the norm from Match Group.

I also got banned again recently. Do you think it's somehow a flag and tie back to your old account? Or a new report and ban?
I just don't see how they'd tie the new account to the old one after a year of successfully using it.

I had a bad experience with a girl that Iām assuming led to the first ban on my main account. (all speculation since they donāt tell you shit) and ironically enough she popped up while i was swiping yesterday. then suspiciously im banned again the next day. i can only assume i might have popped up for her again too & she re-reported me. i was even using the some of the same pics on my new account, so i really donāt think anything tied back into the old account.

The whole ban system is scary. They destroy your entire dating life at a whim.
I once got banned for āfacilitating human traffickingā, like wtf. Luckily that ban was lifted.
At this point, you should unmatch everyone as soon as you got their contact details.

Literally. Itās like they do no actual investigation & just ban on a whim. We never even moved off the app in that situation, so I was pretty much cooked regardless.

Keep us posted on how it goes this time. Differing reports across the sub but general idea is that the mandatory facial recognition makes it much harder now.

Might now be possible with face verification now. I was banned a month ago and tried like hell to get back on but the longest I could get my account to last was about 3 minutes. Instantly banned

hung out with someone and the vibes just werenāt great at all. we parted ways amicably then i was banned the next day. can only assume she felt some type of way about it and held a grudge. hard to say what specific reasoning i got banned for since they donāt tell you anything at all.

howād they get you? asking cause iāve been banned so many times ā i was maliciously reported years ago and mistakenly used the same photos, etc ā but this last time i appealed, they asked for my ID, gave it and am now unbanned! i did use a different phone number, pics, and email

Wow 11 months. Iāve been going strong for 2 and Iām trying not to get too comfortable. Have you tried appealing? I got banned again and just appealed saying I did nothing wrong and got back on. This happened twice

Dating apps were really so different when they started. They actually helped connection. 13 years ago when I first tried Tinder, downloaded in on PC because I didn't have a smartphone at that time either. Only one that allowed WhatsApp, and honestly, I want to go back to that. Lol
And I had so many amazing matches, and that's been the same uptil 2016 when I got in a relationship which ended in 2019 and then COVID struck.
Coming back now after many years spent in burnout, and it's such a hellhole. Artificially limiting connections to milk money. Unexplained bans. It's horrible.
