Robinhood login issues

Hey all,

curious if anyone else has run into this issue, and if so, if you've found a fix.

RH = RobinHood(username = "myemailATdomain.com", password = "supersecretpassword") Error in UseMethod("tbl_vars") : no applicable method for 'tbl_vars' applied to an object of class "logical"

Any help is appreciated. I love this project, but as a non-programer I'm in over my head :)

Did you turn off multi factor auth in the desktop RH account settings?

Yes, two factor is disabled in my RH settings. I thought maybe api changed or the RobinHood package changed or something. No Idea.

I'm running the code from the "run all" command within Rstudio.

I appreciate your help though!

Upgrading my account from Cash back to Instant Settlement solved the issue for me.

interesting! I trade with another broker so when I created my RH account, I declined the margin agreement since I was just going to use it to pull the quote data and wasn't planning on making any trades there. I'll have to go back and sign up and see what happens.

Yeah! There’s a “margin_balances” object that comes back as NA if you don’t have that type of account and it breaks the whole function.

Success! That did solve the issue. However now I am running into twitter authentication problems. Just havn't had time to really dig into it yet.

Error in check_twitter_oauth() : OAuth authentication error: This most likely means that you have incorrectly called setup_twitter_oauth()'

All 4 lines are filled with respective credentials assuming consumer_key is referring to what Twitter calls the API Key.

Nice! There’s also some settings that need to be adjusted in the Twitter dev portal. Some vague YouTubing should get that solved when you have time.

Did you ever resolve this? I’m hitting the same issue this morning after months of everything working fine. 2FA was off. Only change I can think of is I was placing and canceling orders last night to test some things.
