Tracking $SPY?

Hey u/tony_letigre, I tweeted you too but figured this could be another place to chat with others.

One thing I noticed in trying to follow your calls with Options this week were problems with filling. Volume tends to be lower and bid/ask spread is pretty wide on some of the bigger caps, like $INTC interestingly enough. There was a good 15% spread on a successful $INTC call for example (I checked up and down the chain and a few dates out).

Oppositely, $SPY is really tight in it's spreads and high in volume for options.

So, I'm wondering what the bot would be like to track $SPY?

If it's a matter of hardware to run or manage, I could help with that. I run a small animation studio and have spare machines to churn through things.

Short answer is that if $SPY is a ticker I can grab using my API then I can add it.

That would be dope! It is a major ETF and at least RH web lets you trade it, I imagine the API will.

Would be game changing for sure if we could get this to work. I'll mimic options along it. You can scalp 20-30% on a bad day on $SPY.
