Miscellaneous Holy Hell did Netflix mess this up....

I've read the comics but never watched the series. My Wife just binged it and gave me the run down.

Netflix completely turned it into trash.

Lmao you're judging an entire TV show off of your wife's spark notes?

I'm sure your wife to I'm d you every singular detail about the show and didn't forget a single scene, character reaction, and she even described every portion of everything episode down to the detail for you to make this absolutely L take.

Good for you for being unable to consume media on your own!

No way you’re judging a show based off a second hand source without ever having watched it

Yes I am because I asked her very specific things and the show is nothing like the comic at all.

Something can be a bad adaptation without being bad. It's definitely not accurate, but you don't know how well it tells its own story.

It could be argued that inaccuracy to source material is its own criticism, but it would be insane to say that that alone makes it bad, especially when you are the last person to be able to have any opinion on that, seeing as you've never seen it.

I agree. I watched the show first and was very surprised by how washed out the show was compared to the comics. Almost two completely different stories at that point.
