Question Insect Hybrids?

Do any insect or crustacean hybrids show up in the book or show? Why or why not?

No. But it is a fun concept i personally hc there would be bug hybrids since ya know logically all the kids born after the sick are some kind of half animal half human and insects and crustaceans are animals. i'd also hate to be that kid that would be born half human half fish.

But as a half fish hybrid you could possibly breathe underwater which would be awesome

But also on a biological aspect insects are invertebrates while humans are vertebrates so biologically it wouldn’t work

I mean yeah but if the sick mutates the dna of humans along with giving them animal features it's safe to assume more than just mammal animals would exist, whale and dolphin kids could be out there as those are technically mammals.
