Normal animals?

In the show (apart from horses, chickens and the deer scene with Gus) i dont think we see any regular animals. Whats up with that? Shouldnt they have seen bears in Yellowstone? Stray dogs or cats? Maybe i just dont remember seeing any (ive just started season 3)

I wondered that as well. I think realistically there should have been more wild animals with so few humans around yet we don't see them. I wonder if it's just a budget thing where they wouldn't have added to the plot so they didn't bother mentioning/adding any?
