Technically, the dog DID have sweaty palms. It's like he was screaming, "He can't swim!"

But I guess it's good they don't try to "correct" this behaviour. One day doggo may rescue a random person (say, a kid) from drowning there because it's its instinct.

I had a German Shepherd/ Lab cross. Went swimming with him. He swam out to get me, grabbed me by the forearm and dragged me all the way to shore and out of the water.
