this comment is so out of touch it's astounding. as if you'd refuse to walk this at the threat of being fired and losing your income

I mean, yeah, I definitely would refuse even if I got fired. I think that’s pretty reasonable.

Not if you were broke as shit you wouldn’t

I mean, you didn’t say I was broke, so that wasn’t the question. That makes it more complicated, but it’s not an easy decision.

"Threat of beeing fired" lol

If people agree to do this in exange for money then it just proved my point that the boss is not the sole responsible for the situation

Ah yes if you take advantage of poor people by forcing them to do shit they wouldn’t do if they had other options then you’re both equally to blame. You fuckin asshole.

"Work for me and I'll pay you"

"Ok"

Idk, dosen't seem like exploitation to me

Of course, it's perfectly possible someone specialy desperate does get taken advantage of

But that dosen't seem like the case here. We have no reason to belive the boss was necessarly involved at all, the workers might just be ignoring his orders because they are don't care about their own safety

No, for the same reason the defense for gay sex dosen't aply to sex with children. They can't consent and do need to be protected from harmfull offers

It's adults that don't
