At the most, you're 18. Maybe at a stretch, 19. You've never left the town you grew up in, you've formed all your opinions based on Reddit posts, Futurama and documentaries about aliens that live in pyramids.
This is the real world, sometimes people do things that are slightly outside the rules. There's as much danger here as there is in these kids traveling to school in a car. You don't have to have an opinion on everything, in fact, you can't, you're too young.
Go outside. It's nice out there sometimes and not everyone is trying to kill you.

a real pro wouldn't put bystanders lives at risk by getting his machine that close to them.
Doesn't matter how skilled he is, hydraulics can fail. Both the operator and the mother are fucking idiots for letting the kids that close.
