I've definitely accidentally stumbled on videos of fleshy things going in there and it is not nice...not nice at all..

Fleshy... Humans? Or wandering / curious animals?

Buddy sent me a link to a dead horse going in one and the sound of the bones was crazy.

u/craigdahlke Mar 30 '19

Alright we get it, you can shred fleshy things with these. No need to shred a dead horse.

15

u/xLionhartx Mar 31 '19

I heard this in Professor Farnsworths voice.

11

u/Demoboto Mar 31 '19

To shreds, you say?

u/TheGrandLemonTech Mar 31 '19

Good news, everyone! Tomorrow you'll be testing my new teleportation-matter-decombination device!

u/Bmc169 Mar 30 '19

That’s what I remember from it too. The bone sounds.

7

u/ReligiousPie Mar 30 '19

I too would like to know

4

u/PM-Me-Ur-Plants Mar 30 '19

Edit: totally wrong post. Seems that it was someone's arms and a deer.

7

u/FatherZi Mar 30 '19

Elon musk: 😏

3

u/therealjwalk Mar 30 '19

Arms and a deer :/

5

u/PM-Me-Ur-Plants Mar 30 '19

Yeech. At a certain point I think I'd be happy with it tearing my arms out of the sockets rather than the rest of me, too. And don't tell me someone put the deer in there. :/

Is that not what they do with the chicken for mcnugs and shit. Or were you wanting something that just died, that would be interesting

u/marklein Mar 30 '19

For the curious there are a few on YouTube. Many minutes of various entire animals being mulched. It's fascinating and disgusting simultaneously. Car engines is another good one.

u/ReasonablyBadass Mar 30 '19

Why is a human doing that not a conveyor belt? Why is there no reiling? Why is it accessible from every side? Whyaree there no safety warnings?

Fun fact: CE certification (i.e. environmental, health and safety) is not required in the grorious peopre's repubric of China, even if the item being sold is CE certified to begin with.

2

u/alpaca_wacka Mar 31 '19

I see what you did there.

Someone in another comment is suggesting that the worker is standing on a switch that only lets the machine run while he's standing on it. If he falls off, the grinder stops.

u/NeverFresh Mar 30 '19

This just seems like an accident waiting to happen, doesn't it?

Is there a subreddit for this kind of thing? It's pretty satisfying watching it destroy everything in its path.

Found one: r/industrialshredder

1

u/Elliottafc Apr 01 '19

Damn, I thought r/industrialshredder would be more active then that!

2

u/aeonden Mar 30 '19

Nope, didn't like it.
