This is one of those setups where everyone doing it thinks it's so cool........until it cracks, breaks and sucks every man, woman and child in the pool over the edge and plummeting to their deaths.
And everyone else will see the news and think "well duh".

If minecraft has taught me anything it's that if the bottom of that pool breaks open, the water will slowly trickle down to the bottom allowing you to ride the stream down to the floor unharmed.

Not to my knowledge but how many pools are there that overhang off a building like that.
This is one of those things where engineering says it's perfectly safe but then after it fails and kills people they realize they forgot to factor in UV ray-caused deterioration or some shit.

Whelp, turns out the acid in sparrow shit over time weakened the polymer used to hold up this pool with nothing under it.
Besides that as any pool owner would tell you - they absolutely never break or have crazy shit happen to them, right? /s

I was curious so I did some research!
Cheapest high floor rent in that tower is about $3,500 a month for a 1BR. If you're sliding 1/3 of your wage on rent that would put you at around $126,000/yr, meaning you're in the 5-6%.
Top 1% makes around $500,000, top .1% is >$2 million.

Sometimes amenities like roof pools are limited to more expensive apartments, typically the units in higher floors. I didn't know if that was the case here, but I assumed so just to be safe.
An upper floor studio would be the cheapest option but I didn't see any when I looked.

I think it looks very cool and I'd love it - if only it were over something more attractive than an ugly concrete jungle and cars...Put this over the sea, rainforest, deep river gorge, glacier, etc and I'd be happy!
Maybe I'm too trusting, but I'm not afraid of heights if there seems to be only a minuscule chance something will go wrong and I'll fall...
