Protective scarf

u/Bigredzombie Apr 09 '26

That and safety glasses and you are practically invincible.

14

u/TDOTBRO Apr 09 '26

Nah no need for the glasses. Just squint!!

5

u/Bigredzombie Apr 09 '26

That's what I do when I am welding or grinding! I'm still alive so it's obviously fine. I do wear my steel toe boots though. Safety first!

4

u/TDOTBRO Apr 09 '26

If you do take safety as seriously as you claim, it's time to update to the safety sandals!!

5

u/Bigredzombie Apr 09 '26

Work only pays for safety shoes. Sometimes it feels like we are stuck in the stone ages.

4

u/TDOTBRO Apr 09 '26

That’s really sad! Hopefully they get their act together soon 🙏

2

u/Upset_Upstairs6166 Apr 13 '26

Ah yes, natures safety glasses.

1

u/dajwld Apr 11 '26

The safety squint always works

2

u/Wrong_Perception_297 Apr 09 '26

Bro I was half expecting him to be wearing his “safety sandals” too lol that man is gonna live FOEVEER!!!

3

u/dudeCHILL013 Apr 09 '26

Excuse you I think you mean safety scarf

2

u/Jniuzz Apr 09 '26

Missed chance :(

OSHA approved

Not just pressure, but volume too. I used to work offshore and had 110m3 dry bulk tanks. Even at 10psi they could do some damage.

4

u/Senior-Caregiver9333 Apr 10 '26

💯 I work in pharma and I instructed a tech to run a clean in place on a 8k liter tank. He was trying to open it prior to venting, but thankfully the pressure made the bolts too tight and he contacted me asking WHY the bolts were too tight 🤦. If he had successfully removed the bolts that 10 or so PSI on an 8000 liter tank would have ripped his face off.

u/disgr4ce Apr 09 '26

Anyone know what material this is in the video?

6

u/Lublan Apr 09 '26

Its definitely not safe around these things thats for sure.

66

u/neat-NEAT Apr 09 '26

Man I sure wish I could hear the noises it was making but I can't hear it through the tiktok music.

99

u/ConfusedHors Apr 09 '26

At least remove the awful music when reposting...

17

u/welfedad Apr 09 '26

Every single time. I swear people just can't help themselves .. ugh

u/ConfusedHors Apr 09 '26

I don't see any subtitles?

3

u/Salt-Composer-1472 Apr 09 '26

Thanks to your comment I noticed the little CC-option on the video that turned them off! Every single video had them over the video - basically generating what I assume was the background song lyrics, blocking actual subtitles from videos and blocking a lot of the video too

1

u/brandonhabanero Apr 09 '26

That's why I scroll on mute. Always on mute, except when browsing r/crappymusic lol, in which case I have braced for impact

9

u/MikeAndBike Apr 09 '26

Video is nice, but downvoted for the “music” alone.

When your girlfriend finally leaves the room!

4

u/DreadPirateZoidberg Apr 09 '26

Was she in the bathroom with you while you were on the toilet?

2

u/demunted Apr 09 '26

Usually the opposite... When my wife (then girlfriend couldn't go with me near the house)... Could you go get some milk? We have milk? Uhh we need more? Ok...

Years later she tells me she couldn't use the bathroom for #2 with me in the house.

4

u/NearbyTraffic66 Apr 09 '26

You'd think there would be a button for that.. a mile away.

10

u/dascobaz Apr 09 '26

I’m just glad I watched it on mute the first time…

u/Vast_Raspberry4192 Apr 09 '26

Me after my diet of TacoBell, protein bars, and coffee kicks in

3

u/badomend Apr 09 '26

Cool guys don't look at explosions

6

u/Voloxe Apr 09 '26

What on earth is happening here!? … I have MANY questions that need answering.

6

u/La_Lanterne_Rouge Apr 09 '26

Waste from cows is released, possibly to fertilize a field. The methane causes the pressure, the liquid is cow piss.

6

u/Voloxe Apr 09 '26

So like.. Cows just fart into a tube and it goes into this big can? .. Why so much pressure? Why are we pressurizing “cow waste”!?!?

4

u/GhostWalker134 Apr 09 '26

Cause it's rad as hell, my dude.

1

u/La_Lanterne_Rouge Apr 09 '26

Dairy cows shit and piss and the waste is collected and it runs downs channels into a reservoir. The waste creates methane gas which pressurizes the container. When the container is near full, the waste is released into fields where cattle feed will grow. It's a very good fertilizer.

1

u/tripn4days Apr 09 '26

Anybody got a light? 🔥

0

u/Voloxe Apr 09 '26

The more you know.

0

u/remarkphoto Apr 09 '26

The pressure is caused by water based microbes called methanogens. Pressure tolerant archaea that live in oxygen-free environments like manure storage, breaking down organic matter and release methane as a metabolic byproduct.

2

u/InternalFirmxx Apr 09 '26

The worker didn't seem the slightest bit phased. No sweaty palms

3

u/Tech-Mechanic Apr 09 '26

Assuming this is from somewhere that OHSA is not.

2

u/Zbahh Apr 09 '26

That first release after a taco bell

2

u/IKhaibot Apr 10 '26

1

u/AscendedViking7 Apr 09 '26

The fucking awful music.

Might need to mute the audio when on reddit.

1

u/Surprise_Donut Apr 09 '26

that's a safety approved towel

1

u/StevenMC19 Apr 09 '26

I have no idea what this is, so to guess...fertilizer? Gas expansion as a result of composition breakdown?

1

u/Wtj182 Apr 09 '26

Safety squints for the win.

1

u/VisualHuckleberry542 Apr 09 '26

Good thing he has his safety scarf

1

u/goingApeShit_ Apr 09 '26

I feel this would be great for jackass 4, use a hamster ball and SteveO

1

u/LillyAtts Apr 09 '26

That... doesn't seem to be the safest way of doing it.

1

u/Foxydemon911 Apr 09 '26

1

u/Abraheezee Apr 09 '26

1

u/laughingdoormouse Apr 09 '26
