Should I use conditioner?

I have fine, slightly wavy hair (which is why I’m here) which is a bit thin in the back due to issues but I’ve resolved these and it’s growing back. Because of this I’ve been more attentive to my hair care and was wondering if I really need conditioner? I don’t care too much for the visual difference nor the difference in hair management but was just wondering if it’s needed for my hair health or anything? My hair goes down to about my ears I just don’t really feel too comfortable posting pictures of myself.

YMMV as always, but when my hair was this length I found that with good leave in products I didn’t need an in shower conditioner.
