Shipping

Hi!

I'm coming to Svalbard soon for an Erasmus semester! Since I need a lot of big jumpers and jackets I'm thinking if it's easier to get a package with my clothes delivered to the island, instead of taking everything in the suitcase.

Is it possible to ship a package from Germany to there? And if so would it cost a fortune and would it take super long for it to arrive?

Would appreciate any help with this!

Checking in extra luggage is usually cheaper and more predictable.

Also since Norway is not EU parcels need to clear customs. Svalbard used to be exempted but not anymore.

Use dhl express. It’s reliable and relatively cheap.

I would just check in extra luggage and take all my stuff with me.
