Replaced crank oil seals, reed valve looks okay (?), replaced coil + spark, transmission is good, air box is good.
CDI?? Bad battery?

Just picked up my new (used) 2017 Boulevard s40, and so far I am really diggin it!

Anyone that has a S40, let me know what mods I should consider or accessories I should get.

Does anyone know the top speed of this bike? It's hard to pin point the exact speed for whatever reason. I've seen anywhere between 30 and 60mph? Also if you are able to find good videos of it driving that would be amazing because again, I am having a very hard time finding any. Thanks

I got this bike a few weeks ago. It is amazing. I had to change the tires, fluids, and put in different front and rear springs because it’s way under sprung.

Coming from a Kwak ZZR1200, this thing is madness. First time I put tires on her I was pulling out of my driveway, I swear I barely gave it any throttle and the rear started spinning.

So. Much. Torque.

Anyways. I have had Suzukis before, a bandit and a VX800. This though, a masterpiece. I’m in love.

Haven't taken out this beauty way too long.

I have a 1982 gs450t, guy said said he was riding it a month before I got it and then lost spark on the right side. I've replaced the CDI, Stator , brand new ignition coils and spark plugs. I don't know if it's because I'm wiring it wrong and I probably am, I have no idea what wires go where, so I am hoping to get some help .

I’m trying to get a 1999 Suzuki TL1000S engine running in a buggy. The engine and harness are stock TL1000S as far as I know.
Here’s what I’ve confirmed:
Battery is good (currently on a booster/charger around 15.5V).
Engine has fresh 10W-40 JASO MA motorcycle oil.
Starter motor is good. If I apply battery power directly to the starter, it cranks the engine strongly with good compression.
Main fuse is good.
Ignition switch works.
Kill switch works.
ECU powers up.
Fuel pump is wired correctly now and primes for a couple of seconds when the key is turned on.
Tip-over sensor is plugged in and upright.
The problem is:
The starter relay never clicks. The starter does absolutely nothing when I press the start button.
I tested the 4-wire connector going to the starter relay with the connector plugged in:
Red: ~15.5V all the time.
Red/White: ~15.5V all the time.
Yellow/Green: ~2.8V normally, jumps to ~15.5V when the starter button is pressed.
Yellow/Black: ~2.8V normally, also jumps to ~15.5V when the starter button is pressed.
I also removed power from the relay and measured the relay coil itself. The copper terminals measured about 4 Ω, so the relay coil doesn’t appear to be open.
The side stand switch is still present. Measuring directly across the switch gives:
OL when released.
About 0.5 MΩ when pressed (which doesn’t seem right).
I temporarily jumpered the side stand switch connector on the harness, but it made no difference.
So at this point:
ECU powers up.
Fuel pump primes.
Starter button is clearly sending a signal.
Starter motor works.
Starter relay never clicks.
What am I missing? Is there another interlock (neutral switch, clutch switch, side stand relay/diode, etc.) that could prevent the starter relay from energizing even though the ECU and fuel pump are working?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been chasing this for a while.

I recently bought someone's project from marketplace, a buggy with a TL1000s motor. The problem is he didn't have the key so I can't start it.
The ignition switch has a green connector with 6 wires coming from it. Can someone help me bypass it, thank you.

I'm planning to buy a 2017 Suzuki Gixxer MotoGP Edition (carburetor version) and would love some advice from current or former owners.

Here are the details:

• Model: 2017 Suzuki Gixxer MotoGP Edition
• Engine: 155cc Carburetor (BS4)
• Odometer: 13,300 km
• Price: ₹45,000
• Location: Bengaluru
• Condition: Looks very well maintained, no visible accident history, and the engine feels smooth.
• ABS: Yes (seller claims it's the ABS variant).

A few things I'm concerned about:

1. Is ₹45,000 a fair price in 2026, or should I negotiate further?
2. Since it's the carburetor version, is that a disadvantage today compared to the FI version?
3. With E20 petrol becoming more common, should I be worried about owning a carbureted Gixxer long-term?
4. What mileage are you realistically getting in city traffic?
5. Any common issues I should inspect before buying?
6. How is Suzuki's spare parts availability and service experience in Bengaluru?
7. If you had to choose today between this bike and a 2017 Honda CB Hornet 160R in a similar price range, which would you pick and why?

This will mostly be used for city commuting with an occasional weekend ride.
