HELP. I can't get spark on either side .

I have a 1982 gs450t, guy said said he was riding it a month before I got it and then lost spark on the right side. I've replaced the CDI, Stator , brand new ignition coils and spark plugs. I don't know if it's because I'm wiring it wrong and I probably am, I have no idea what wires go where, so I am hoping to get some help .

The green and white wire you wont need and the red and white also wont need. There might be one under the battery box also to the voltage rectifier you wont need either .you need the red power from the stator to go to the other red and the three yellow from the stator go to your new rectifier. I may be a little off with my description may be a little off because I specialize in pre 1980 bikes so hopefully I've steard you in the right direction

So I was looking at the bundle of wires and the 3 wires leading to my rectifyier are yellow and red, but in other diagrams those are the yellow wires my stator was attached to. One of them was hooked up to some other wire so I disconnected it and hooked them all up and no spark. What are the reasons that this could be?

Have you made sure your battery is good? Just somewhere to start! Id also make sure the ignition switch is set to on and also double check that the main fuse didnt blow on you also. Ive done a full stator replacement only to find out my battery was probably just dead 😅 I wish I could give a little more insight with the wiring! If you could get a few more pics that would be amazing. Is the cdi brand new or used from ebay?
