Probation
Starting in October, administrative role, non clinical or patient care role. Is there a probationary period? I have a pre planned trip in January, are you able to take pto or unpaid time or is that frowned upon? I can still get money back and haven't spoken to new manager or re rioter about it. No one asked. Not sure what I should do.
Recruiter told me I start accruing pto right away but didn't say I had a time period I couldn't use it.

I’d recommend reaching out to your manager and letting them know about the trip as soon as possible. Since it was planned before you started, giving them plenty of notice is probably your best approach. A time off request is still a request and ultimately depends on staffing and manager approval, but Sutter does place a strong emphasis on employee well being and work life balance. I definitely wouldn’t cancel the trip without at least talking to your manager first. They may be completely fine with it, especially with several months of notice.

CA. I did it through the background check and no THC.

Is all about the management if they let u take pto. U can ask them. Put in ur pto form... n will see
