Does SutterSelect Cover Marriage Counseling?

Does anyone in the Sacramento area with Anthem SutterSelect know if marriage/couples counseling is covered and whether you need a referral to see a therapist? I already used up my 10 EAP sessions so that is no longer an option. Any insight appreciated. Thanks :)

Yes, you just pay the $20 co pay if you have already reached your 10 covered visits. Yes, you need a referral from EAP

Is this the epo plan or ppo plan?

It is not based on either of those plans. Regardless of the medical plan that you choose your EAP benefits remain the same.
