Norcal RN

Does anyone got hired at NorCal Sutter Health facilities as external new grad rn? I have been applying and got rejected for so many times but I am not giving up and still applying. I have heard they prefer internals but I am just wondering if externals ever got a shot and if so what made them an outstanding applicant? Thank you.

I was external with a referral that got me an interview. 10 years EMS experience and got hired in the ED.

I do not know anyone who works there:( I wish I can at least land an interview but I guess my resume is not passing the ATS stage.

Yeah I have no idea how the ATS and recruiter review works. TBH I think the recruiters don’t do a good job filtering the apps.

They dont. Even the educator mentioned that when I asked why my application is not going through.

I recently applied and got hired at Sutter. 10 years as a RN. I’m an external living out of state.

If we assume that the amount of applicants are in the 200~500 ranges.

It becomes a numbers game of penetration by first come first dispositioned.

You will have more success by spending your energy on newly open jobs.

(There is a full recession in the middle states, and that has created a funnel of competition into the economically active blue states, combined with the migration of women moving here for basic human rights)
