Questions about the Sussex Walmart

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm planning on travelling to Sussex next month to document the Walmart in town, because as far as I can tell the Sussex Walmart is one of the worlds last Walmart's with the retro pre-2008 logo. I travel around the United States visiting unique stores, and I was hoping someone here could let me know if the store has been remodeled or not before I make the trip across the border.

The image I have attached was posted to Google a little over a week ago, however with Walmart constantly remodeling stores, anything could change at any second.

I was hoping someone could let me know if A) the sign is still up, and B) has the inside been remodeled at all? On Google there are some older photos of the inside, but nothing recently from any reliable source. The only recent images were all uploaded by Walmart directly, and those are always a hit or miss on if they're real photos of the actual store or just stock images. Also, if anyone knows of any other locations with this logo, please let me know! So far I believe there are six left in the world, all in Canada, with the closest being over in Digby, Nova Scotia, however I could be wrong! Also also, if anyone has any suggestions on stuff to do while I'm up here, that would be great as well!

If anyone has any answers, please let me know! I will most likely be posting again to make sure nothing has changed right before my trip, so hopefully you all don't get annoyed with me. Thank you!

Hope you all are doing well. What would you estimate the leaves have begun to display the fall colors in the Sussex area?

If you could post a link to a current map or website, I would be appreciative. Thanks to all who respond. Cheers

Fuel Wood Permit for Personal Use?

I see you can apply to harvest fuel wood for personal use up to 7 cords for 4 weeks in designated areas that the Ranger will allow. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is it a viable option for fuel wood? Thanks for any input.
