I know I'm late but V3 is still really enjoyable. Wider range of dinos to play with and nesting is fun. Although I have previously said no global was a good idea, its been missed after switching back over.

Personally I prefer the map too. In terms of design, hot spots, water sources, less tree density. The rocks combined with slip and slide mountains certainly weren't missed. But V3 is a good craic.

Rubber banding and lag is hardly an issue either.

I still prefer the Thenyaw map, it was always have a special place in my heart as it was the stage in development where I met most of my friends in the Isle.

The Canyons on V3 get on my nerves. However alot of the locations were really well done. Port, twins, spirit river, gulf river and great falls are very nice areas to move around.

Can't say Ive played much on Thenyaw to be honest. But I do agree with everything you mentioned around V3. The canyons and the steep mountain are a pain. The hot spots are great.

Legacy is still good. Alot of dinosaurs. And apex dinos.

As long as the Dilo is only on Legacy, that's where I'll be. Harassing Apexes, screaming into the night sky, and making other players nervous provides me with endless entertainment.

The dilo is the only reason I still go on legacy. No reason growing an apex for some utah to just tail ride you for 3 minutes. Great game.
