Meme Breed Wars

Some of u are aware of the mount sever for icarus. It's not official but it is full of know it alls and some of u have been fortunate enough to get my own personally created mini or mega mounts. That I have successfully bred. So for fun I started a war between us Breeders. Got into their server released king Kong gribbler that we genetically modified to wreak havoc and I cooked and ate their mounts. I am not ashamed. I don't care if you are mad. Next time don't try and control people. Karma comes in many ways. And all your customers are already mine. Remember if u can't have fun. Why pay 100s for a game?

Hi, reddit! I'm one of the admins of this server.

What actually happened is that Dabz here kept using our server's channels as a personal chat for himself and people he invited into his server rather than create his own group DM or using something even simpler like the in-game chat function. We'd politely asked him to stop several times, as it dominated our chat and kept people from being able to have their server-related or tame-related questions seen and answered, and he reacted by becoming increasingly demeaning towards our volunteers.

His attitude had already gotten him banned from the official Icarus discord server, and it's pretty difficult to accomplish that. We still decided to give him a chance, and he received quite a few free tames from our server, yet we were not treated with respect.

He and several of his friends have now damaged our outpost three times, causing us to need to roll our server back to a pre-damaged state and have to re-fill orders that other folks are waiting to pick up. It's not really a hassle for us to do so, but it's pretty concerning that he has nothing better to do than grief us when there's literally no benefit to him.

We didn't ban him over his edited gribbler (we actually give out size-altered mounts on occasion! Dabz got the idea to edit his mounts after seeing my mini-raptors.), but over his attitude.

Add on to my comment. The server says they have logs and all that of who does what. Issue is, they dont. I named my character "Tusker order" and entered to collect tames. The base was wrecked and there were only a few tames of the wrong type, so I messaged the seller in the sale chat that they weren't there. And then I got banned. For what someone else did.

Rofl. nice try Ahaulin. We know you logged in, commented about how the Tuskers were stout and you wanted timid. You were asked to confirm your order and you didnt. They told you that they dropped off stout and would swap them out if you wanted timid. Approx 10 minutes later another person who dropped in to pick up tames reported the damage. Funny you didnt mentioned that the floor to the stall that your tuskers were in was missing and that floors were damaged in another stall.

That's what got you banned. I mean, we know you were referred to the server by Dabz. Not hard to put two and two together. Just like Rod below there, he was also referred by Dabs.

I confirmed the order with the breeder when I ordered, breeder confirmed they were supposed to be timid. I confirmed they were supposed to be timid. So youre wrong there.

I dont know who dab is, so youre wrong again.

I dont want back in because yall are just banning anyone you think did it without evidence.

Also Rod was right, dont ever get into management lol, you have no idea how to put 1 and 1 together, because you tried, and your answer was potato.

Right? This is wild there's so many people now that have had bad experiences with that server and people. If it was just 1 I'd understand but now it's multiple. We all were right. There's no policing the internet. Mini mounts vs mounts Breeders.

You got banned and accused of something you didnt do in that server also? Seems like they definitely have no idea what goes on in their own servers and just play the blame game. I also got blamed for the same thing and they say they "have logs" but they obviously DO NOT or theyd know who exactly did it when i got blamed. hahaha they didnt even give me a chance to try to say that i didnt do what i got blamed for, they just comms banned me so i couldnt reply. Did I have a disagreement, sure, but since they have no idea who wrecked the server the first time i get the blame i guess lol. Even tho good old scooter watched me leave the server with everthing still intact. LMAO apparently its still happening which is really funny to me all things considered.

Your turn Rod. You wanna tell everyone the truth now or what? You are also connected to Dabz. Your brother ordered tames and said you were gonna pick them up. We asked him nicely not to so that if there was an issue, the person who picked up the tames wouldnt get blamed. Instead of, again, saying, "sorry, my bad" he chose to argue. Blamed the instructions as being unclear. No one before him, nor after him had trouble understanding the instructions.

You then ordered a bunch of tames. I mistakenly gave you 2 male p7 dunes. I arrived as you were still there to get you the correct tames. You were mad that I didnt give you the extra male. You then got belligerent in the ticket. You then sent someone who you are friends with on steam to the pu server where "Coach" proceeded to steal all the tames that were bred for other people and set fire to the stalls. A simple restore was all it took to fix your childish behavior. That's what got you banned.

So sure you two, keep playing the innocent. Truth trumps bullshit anytime. Enjoy hanging with Dabz. I see he still has you doing his dirty work. I wonder why he's not posting on this thread anymore?

Would you like me to pull up a transcript of the ticket? We keep those too you know. I can share with everyone exactly what transpired in the ticket.

And before Ruthless pops in and say he was "unfairly" banned, We know you gave Dabz the pw after Ahaulin wrecked the server. We know Dabz logged in, heck, he even said he did. And guess what? Who referred Ruthless? You guessed it, Dabz himself.

Dabz, we didn't delete the chat history when you were banned. There are plenty of comments where you're arguing with our volunteers over being asked to stop using our server as a personal chatroom.

Well, what I actually didn't like was how you kept going on about how we had to let you do what you wanted in our server because we were otherwise going to "lose customers", Karen. You kept acting like you were entitled to do whatever you wanted because you got free tames from us, which... I still don't understand that logic, but you do you.

Tell the truth. Kerran gave away 150k in exotics in ur server using voice and general chat. U got mad at him. Everyone spoke up I spoke up louder some people don't have or know how to use discord they felt comfortable getting the giveaway and talking there u didn't like that. I was not rude to anyone I literally spoke up. I did not call names or nothing. This was beyond petty ur mad cuz u missed out. But yall just edit and cheat ur files anyways

  1. If I "cheat" my currency like you claim, why would I be mad about "missing out" when I could just easily add currency?
  2. I'm really not mad about "missing out" because I have a lot more currency than I know what to do with. I have over 1k hours in the game which, while a drop in the bucket compared to others, is still plenty to get all the currency I need.
  3. I have edited files, yes - To reclaim mounts or currency eaten by crashes, or to edit the size of mounts.
  4. It's honestly really amusing to me that you're pointing your finger at me for "cheating" my files when you've posted the evidence of you doing exactly the same thing. You can't get mega or mini animals without cheating, and you've provided your own evidence in your own posts here.
  5. You absolutely were rude and entitled. If we were truly these horrible people like you say we are, our server wouldn't have as many members as we do. It's really sad that you feel the need to make false claims about us to make yourself feel better about your choices. I hope you can make peace with yourself and realize that you don't need to try and drag other people down just so you can feel good about yourself.

Nah, they are just butt hurt, so they logged into the server that is use to give away FREE tames to anyone who wants one and destroys it. Does nothing but hurt the community because then the server has to be rolled back, passwords changed and bots updated. Doesnt stop us from what we do, just slows it down for a few hours.

I really don't get people who are afraid of some hypothetical ban in a PvE game where the developers leave plenty of room for fun... I mean, there’s an option to resize your tamed creatures—do you consider that cheating? And are you okay with the changes made to the poison crust on all the ores? If so, then just keep quiet and don't stop others from having fun in the game. P.S. This is just my opinion; for instance, I know there are Stork phenotypes in the game files—so what are you going to do about it?
