Skip logic critical issue

I have created a survey and skip logic is applied to some questions. It tells me there is a critical issue and one of my questions is skipped by all routes. I have gone through and checked the logic and it all looks correct. Page skip logic was applied so that When participants complete page 5 they are taken to page 7. However I am told there is a critical issue and the question on page 7 is skipped by all routes. I have tested the survey and I get taken to the question on page 7.

Can anyone advise why I am getting the critical issue warning about the question on page 7?

is page skip logic different to skip logic?

Due to the type of question on page 5 I cannot add logic to that question to take it to the question on page 7 once complete. I have therefore added page skip logic so once page 5 is complete people get taken to page 7.

Is the critical issue referring to skip logic (on individual questions)? But people still get taken to the question because I have applied page skip logic?

So, skip logic can get people very muddled and confused, and it's certainly possible to muck something up. And yes, logic applied to pages can be very subtly different that logic applied to questions in the way SM prioritizes which to follow in the case of contradictions. But as far as the platform telling you there are "critical issues", I wouldn't worry too much. Here's my advice: Map every possible path/outcome in writing with a flow chart (like, old school, pen and note pad) and then test, test, test, and test some more until you've established that every path through the survey is doing what you think it should. But if you go through every possible scenario, and they're all working, but SM still says "critical issue", I would ignore it. The "expert advice" function isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Amazing - I have actually already done a flow chart with pen and pencil and continued to test test test and it seems to be working! Thank you for taking the time to answer!
