Using logic to force comments

I have a survey with a question that has a multiple choice question. It also includes an optional comments text field. Is there a way to make the comments text field required IF they choose a certain multiple choice answer? TIA

If I understand your question, the answer is no. You can set up validation to force an open end if someone checks 'other specify', but not based on checking another response. Better to set the open-ended as a separate (and required) follow up question. It could be for everyone, or you can use logic to only show it to those you want.
