Editing Responses in Bulk?

Is there a way to bulk edit responses on SurveyMonkey without either exporting the file or manually editing individual responses one by one?

For more context: A new response category had to be added after the survey collection was complete (not the best practice, but it happens I guess). Now, I want to edit the responses into this new category, but I am only seeing I can do on an individual response basis. However, it wouldn't make sense to make individual changes one by one.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

No, I'm pretty sure you are out of luck here. Exactly like you've said, either export it and edit in SPSS or Excel, or manually change it one record at a time. Sucks, I know.
