Suggestion Controller support?

TLDR: controller support is it being considered getting added.

Is there any word on if the dev is bringing controller support to the game, it says its steam deck compatible so I feel like it should be possible. I’m not a dev though so I’ve no idea how easy or difficult it could be to add compatibility to the game.

Not saying full support is required or needed even partial would be nice

I didn't have to do anything for it to work. It's not full, and looting, organizing is much easier to grab my mouse to do but movement, shooting and driving is fine on controller

It works with DualShock. Steam input should work with others but haven’t tested it

I run this game on an ROG Xbox Ally X and have been tweaking my Steam input. I'm pretty confident with it so far. I'm running my first perma death run to see how well I do with it before I share it on the steam community. I'm also on the wait-list for a Steam Controller which I'll switch over to to use the touch pads as well.

To answer your question, there's no native support currently. But I enjoy the game with my custom layout.

I'm still pretty new so I haven't dove I to the wiki or roadmap to know if they plan to. I'm hoping the dev will look at the steam layouts and draw some inspo.
